According to reports, Molly Ringwald separated from Valery Lameignere, because of his “cruel and inhuman treatment.” During their divorce, she did not request any property from the couple’s Bordeaux, France, home or alimony.
Before getting married in 1999 in the village of Arcachon in Bordeaux, the couple were engaged for eight years.
Molly Ringwald became famous in the 1980s for her roles in several popular teen films, including “Sixteen Candles” (1984), “The Breakfast Club” (1985), and “Pretty in Pink” (1986). These films helped to establish her as an icon of 1980s teen culture and launched her career as a successful actress.
