Molly Gordon is a talented American actress. She is the daughter of Bryan Gordon and Jessie Nelson.

Her father Bryan Gordon is a film and television director, writer, actor and producer who is primarily known for directing comedy television shows.
He has directed various television pilots, including One Tree Hill, where he established the series’ aesthetic and design. In 2012, he directed the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary short “The Arnold Palmer,” which was nominated for a Sports Emmy in 2013 for Outstanding New Approaches Sports Programming.
Her father was also nominated for an Emmy Award twice, both times for his work on the HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm, for which he directed multiple episodes.

Jessie Nelson, her mother, is a film producer, director, actress, and writer. She began her acting career at the Public Theater in New York with the theater troupe Mabou Mines, and she later appeared in Shakespeare In The Park.
In 2002, she received the Producers Guild’s first Stanley Kramer Award for her performance in I Am Sam. She co-wrote Stepmom (1998) and The Story of Us (1999), as well as co-wrote and produced Because I Said So and Fred Claus, both of which were inspired by a bedtime story she used to tell her daughter.
