Mitchell Theoret was born on 8 June 1993 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was a former Ice Dogs’ forward player and has been with the team for four years between 2009-2013, playing a total of 216 games.

Mitchell Theoret was drafted in the seventh round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders. In his last year, Mitchell Theoret achieved an outstanding 42 points in 35 games.

Mitchell Theoret attended Athabasca University from 2017-2020 where he had his Bachelor of Science in Physics. He also attended Ryerson University from 2015-2017 where he studied Arts & Contemporary Studies.

Mitchell Theoret was a professional Hockey player for VHK Vsetín in Vsetin, Czech Republic as well as, KONGSVINGER IL KNIGHTS ELITE in Kongsvinger, Hedmark, Norway. He was also a Construction Foreman for R McGregor Contracting in Milton, Ontario, Canada. He is now a Korn Ferry Tour Caddie.
