Mitch Jacobson is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays as a loose forward for Waikato in the ITM Cup. Mitch was born on January 13, 1996, in Te Awamutu, New Zealand.

Mitch Jacobson was a New Zealand Schools representative in 2014 and a year later he was a member of the New Zealand side that won the 2015 IRB Junior World Championship in Italy.

Mitch Jacobson’s brother, Luke Jacobson plays in the forward pack for the Chiefs in the Super Rugby competition. Luke Jacobson made his mark in 1st XV rugby which in turn earned him selection in the 2014 New Zealand Schools team.

Luke Jacobson made his All Blacks debut in July 2019, in the final quarter of a narrow 20–16 win against Argentina. Jacobson captained the Waikato Under 19s in the Jock Hobbs Memorial National Under 19s tournament to victory.
