Miss Rwanda organiser, Dieudonne Ishimwe, has been arrested for sexual assault allegations.

The famous former musician known as Prince Kid was arrested on Tuesday, the police command in a statement said. The 36-year-old is suspected of assaulting “former Miss Rwanda contestants” on several occasions.
The case will be referred to the prosecutor’s office in due course. Mr Ishimwe has not responded to the accusations against him.

The Miss Rwanda pageant is one of the most followed events in Rwanda.
An employee of the organising company told the BBC that four girls who contested last year and in this year’s edition had made complaints to investigators before his arrest.
