The minimum wage is a government-mandated minimum amount of money that has to be paid to a worker who works full time. If a worker is paid less than the approved minimum wage, the employer in question can be prosecuted by the Nigerian government.
The latest values for the National minimum wage was announced on April 1, 2019, the amount of N30,000.00 ($79.57) per month.
