Mike Schank Obituary

American guitarist and actor.

Schank was close friends with independent filmmaker, Mark Borchardt and helped Mark make the short film, Coven. He also appeared along with Borchardt in the 1999 documentary film Ameican Movie.

He had recorded an album called Songs I Know. He played himself in an episode of Family Guy and a cameraman in storytelling.

Schank and Mark had their series on Zero TV, Mark and Mike, and in 2006, Mark and Mike hosted a national television special called Night of the Living Dead: LIVE from Wisconsin on Halloween night.

He died at the age of 56. Mike Schank died in his mother’s arms on Thursday morning. The cause of his death has not been disclosed yet.
