Mike Muscala is a basketball player who plays as center and power forward for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Born on July 1, 1991, in Minnesota, Muscala played high school basketball at Roseville and college basketball at Bucknell.

As a college student, Muscala won the Patriot League Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and earned First-Team All Conference honors, and Tournament MVP on two occasions.

In 2013, Muscala was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks as 44th overall pick, in the second round of the NFL draft, but was traded to the Atlanta Hawks.
Muscala has history playing with the Río Natura Monbús, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Erie BayHawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and now, the Boston Celtics
Muscala was traded to the Celtics in February 2023, in exchange for Justin Jackson and two prospective second-round draft picks.
