David Huckabee is a businessman who graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro in 2002. He was arrested at the age of 26 at the Little Rock airport after an X-ray technician discovered a loaded Glock pistol in his carry-on luggage.
David Huckabee was charged with having a weapon in a prohibited place despite having a concealed weapons permit. He was later released from jail after pleading guilty to the misdemeanour charge.

A judge sentenced him to one year in prison suspended and ten days of community service. He was also sentenced to a year of probation.
