Shelley Fabares and actor Mike Farrell have been wed since 1984. American actress and singer Shelley Fabares was chosen in 1964 to play one of the female roles in the well-known surf movie Ride the Wild Surf.

After that triumph, she was cast in 1965’s MGM musical comedy Girl Happy as the starring female alongside Elvis Presley. The lead singer of Herman’s Hermits, Peter Noone, was portrayed by Fabares in the same year’s Hold On! Movie, which was also made by MGM.

She even performed the song “Make Me Glad” in the movie, showcasing her singing abilities.

Michael Joseph Farrell Jr., a well-known American actor who was born on February 6, 1939, is best remembered for his role as Captain B.J. Hunnicutt in the television series MAS*H from 1975 to 1983.

In addition, Farrell starred in the critically acclaimed television series Providence and produced the 1998 movie Patch Adams, which starred Robin Williams (1999-2002). He is a well-known activist and public speaker who backs a variety of political causes.

The second of four children, Farrell spent his formative years in St. Paul, Minnesota. His parents were Michael Joseph Farrell and Agnes Sarah Cosgrove.

His family moved to Hollywood, California when he was two years old so that his father could work as a carpenter on movie sets.

Natalie Wood’s classmate Farrell attended West Hollywood Grammar School before graduating from Hollywood High School. From 1957 to 1959, he was a member of the US Marine Corps. After leaving the service, he held a number of various occupations before deciding to become an actor.

Throughout the 1960s, Farrell made cameos on a number of TV shows, including Lassie in February 1967, where he portrayed a young US Forest Service ranger.

In addition, he performed the roles of an Army doctor in an episode of Combat!, a Federal Agent named Modell on an episode of The Monkees from 1967, and an astronaut by the name of Arland on I Dream of Jeannie.
