In early 2000, he moved to Bali, Indonesia. He gave up surfing from a competitive point of view to seek unknown surfing spots, which he documented through stunning videos and photographs.
Jones was born in Hawaii’s Rocky Point. His siblings, Malia, Keoni and Daniel Jones, also excelled in surfing. Jones captured the hearts of countless surfing fans in Hawaii and elsewhere during his career that lasted more than 25 years.
