Meet Mark Csikszentmihalyi
Mark Csikszentmihalyi is a Professor and Eliaser Chair of International Studies. He is the Editor of the Journal of Chinese Religions.
He holds an AB in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from Harvard and a Ph.D. in Asian Languages from Stanford.
Mark Csikszentmihalyi reconstructs the religions, philosophies, and cultures of early China using both excavated and transmitted literature.
His recent books include Material Virtue: Ethics and the Body in Early China (2004) and Readings in Han Chinese Thought (2006). He is now translating a collection of Song period essays on the Zhuangzi.

Meet Christopher Csikszentmihalyi
Christopher Cskszentmihályi is a technologist and artist. Csikszentmihályi was born in Chicago, Illinois in June 1968.
He is an Associate Professor in Cornell University’s Department of Information Science. Csikszentmihályi is the former director of the MIT Center for Future Civic Media and the MIT Media Lab’s Computing Culture research group.
He was a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Art and Design Research at Parsons School of Design in addition to MIT and Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute.
Christopher Cskszentmihályi was a Rockefeller New Media Fellow in 2005, a Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study fellow in 2007, and has taught at the University of California, San Diego, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Art Center College of Design, and Turku University.
