The couple got married in 1977. They had three children. Charlotte Janelle, Emily Claire and Georgia Rose.

The couple divorced in 1991. Trina Dow Dolenz still goes by her married name.  She was born on  6 February 1954.

Trina Dow studied couples psychotherapy in Cambridge, England, where she earned a Graduate Certificate in Marital and Couples Counseling.

She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Couples Therapy from the University of East London. She has a private practice in couples psychotherapy in London and Los Angeles, and she also has an office in Washington, DC.

Trina was the host of Tool Academy. She is a Loveline volunteer co-host on occasion. She grew up in Hertfordshire. She was a model and actress before moving to the United States in 1977.
