Who Is Mickey Joseph?

Mickey Joseph is a former footballer and current interim head coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Born on March 5, 1968, Joseph played football for Nebraska and Hamilton-Tiger Cats as a quarterback.

He served as associate head coach and wide receivers coach at Louisiana State University (LSU) for four years and later served as head football coach at Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma for another one year.

Since then, he has served as quarterbacks and wide receivers coach at Omaha North HS, Wayne State, Archbishop Shaw HS, Tulane, Alabama State, Nicholls State, Central Oklahoma, Desire Street Academy, Langston, Alcorn State, Grambling State, Louisiana Tech, LSU, and now, Nebraska.

While he was at LSU, Joseph led the team to win the national championship in 2019.

In 2022, Joseph was selected as interim head coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, after coach Scott Frost was sacked.
