Jonnie West is Director of Basketball Operations for the Golden State Warriors and the husband of Michelle Wie West a professional golfer from the United States.

The couple married on August 10, 2019, at a private home in Beverly Hills, California. Their daughter was born on June 19, 2020.
Michelle Wie West’s husband Jonnie is the son of NBA legend Jerry West. Jonnie attended West Virginia University, where he majored in sports management and played basketball for four years.

In 2012, he received his bachelor’s degree, and an MBA in business administration, and began working for former sports agent Arn Tellem at Wasserman Media Group. In 2012, Jonnie was appointed as the director of basketball operations and advance scout for the Golden State Warriors’ G-League team in Santa Cruz.
Jonnie West was hired as the Warriors’ director of player programmes in 2015. All of his efforts were rewarded in 2018 when he was promoted to director of basketball operations for the team.
