Michelle Triola Death: Was Marvin ever married If yes With who?

Michelle Triola was an American actress best known for suing Lee Marvin in 1977 after cohabiting with him from 1965 to 1970. The trial that gave rise to the notion of palimony was highly publicised at the time. She was Michelle Triola Marvin at the time, having officially changed her name to include Marvin’s surname.

Triola studied theatre arts at UCLA. She used to be a lounge singer and dancer. She performed in Gene Kelly’s original 1958 Broadway staging of Flower Drum Song.

Her acting career consisted of tiny appearances, such as a stand-in for Lee Marvin in the 1965 picture Ship of Fools and a guest appearance on the Dick Van Dyke television series Diagnosis: Murder.

Triola underwent lung cancer surgery in April 2008 and on October 30, 2009, she died of cancer at the home she shared with Van Dyke. She was 76 years old at the time.
