Rooker played the role of Yondu Udonta in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), followed by its sequels Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023).
The American actor Rooker got his first acting career in the 1986 American independent psychological horror crime film Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.
His early notable film credits include Eight Men Out (1988), Sea of Love (1989), Music Box (1989) Days of Thunder (1990), and Tombstone (1993).
