American sports commentator and former NFL player, Michael Irvin has been pulled from NFL Network’s Super Bowl 57 coverage. It has been reported that a woman has made several allegations against the former player on Sunday [February 5, 2023].

Even though the details of the allegations are still yet to be revealed, some people are of the view that they are sexual allegations. The Pro Football Hall of Fame expressed his disappointment and shock following the recent development.

“This happened in a 45-second conversation in the lobby. Honestly, I’m a bit baffled with it all. I don’t really recall the conversation,” he said. He added that there “absolutely was no sexual wrongdoing.”
This is the second time the sportsman has been pulled off air. In 2016, he was suspended for a short period after several allegations of him sexually harassing female employees became a debatable topic.
The network is yet to give further clarification regarding his future with them.
