Michael Cheika is a former Australian rugby union player and coach. He was made on March 4, 1967, in Sydney, Australia. In addition to playing flanker for a number of club teams, such as Randwick and Sydney University, he was a member of the Australian national team. Cheika is known as one of the sport’s best coaches, and his coaching career has taken him all over the world.

Cheika’s reputation as a coach of the Australian national team, the Wallabies, dates back to 2014 and continues into 2019. He guided the team to the Rugby World Cup Final in 2015, when they lost to New Zealand. He has also won multiple national championships with his club teams.
