Born in April 1988 in Brownsville, Texas, Begum faced significant challenges from the start due to a rare and severe medical condition known as arthrogryposis.

Despite the physical limitations imposed by the condition, Begum’s passion for video games flourished, and he developed his unique method of controlling games using his wrist, chin, mouth, and face.

As a teenager, Begum made his mark in the gaming world, particularly in titles like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Street Fighter.

With his signature Chun-Li, he achieved the number one rank in online Street Fighter 4 and competed in tournaments nationwide, earning respect and admiration from peers and opponents alike.

Beyond his remarkable skills as a player, Begum was known for his contributions as a coach, helping others improve their gameplay.

He also dedicated his time to charitable endeavors, including his work with AbleGamers, an organization focused on making gaming accessible to individuals with disabilities.
