Mia Hamm Ex-Husband: Who is Christian Corry?

Christian Corry is a Helicopter pilot and also the ex-husband of Mia Hamm, a retired American soccer player.

The former couple who were college sweethearts got married in 1994 and divorced in 2001 after being married six years. They did not have any children.

Speaking about the divorce in an interview with the New York Times, Mia Hamm revealed that but their respective careers kept them apart.

Corry, for example, was stationed in Okinawa for the 1999 Women’s World Cup and was granted leave to see only the final American match against China. He is still located in San Diego, while she is a football player in Washington.

”Our career paths really never crossed,” Hamm told the NYTimes in a Phone interview. ”We were both committed to what we were doing. “We found a great deal of security in each other. At the same time, we missed out on a lot. I know a lot of times I wasn’t there for him, and that I regret.”

Christian Corry has been out of the spotlight since his divorce from Hamm. It’s unclear whether he married or is still single.
