Merrill Kelly is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Major League Baseball Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB).

Merrill Kelly and his wife Bre gave birth to their first child, a daughter, Hadley, in February 2022.

Unlike many other players and celebrities, Kelly prefers to keep his personal life private. As such, he hasn’t shared any photos of his child on any social media sites.

Kelly signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks in December 2018, and he made the Opening Day roster as a starter in Arizona, where he attended both high school and college.

In his first season, he led the National League in losses with 14, but he also led the team in wins with 13. In 183.1 innings, he had a 4.42 ERA with 158 strikeouts and 57 walks.

He began the 2022 season with a 15-inning scoreless streak, three short of the franchise record.

Kelly was named National League Pitcher of the Month for July 2022 after posting a 1.31 ERA in six starts. He was also named National League Player of the Week for the week of July 25-31.
