Mekapati Goutham Reddy was an Indian politician who was the Minister for Industries, Commerce, and Information Technology in the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Mekapati Goutham was a member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing Atmakur Assembly constituency of Nellore district for the second time.
Mekapati Goutham was the son of the former MP of Nellore Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy.
Mekapati Goutham studied post-graduation in the United Kingdom and started his political career in 2014 contesting for Atmakur constituency on behalf of YSR Congress Party.

Mekapati Goutham was a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Atmakur constituency in both 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election and 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.
According to Jagranjosh, Mekapati Goutham was married to Sri Keerthi and they had two children.
In February 2022, Mekapati Goutham was rushed to the Appolo Hospital, Hyderabad after he collapsed at his residence.
Subsequently, Mekapati Goutham died from a heart attack on 21 February 2022, at the age of 50.
