The Mega Millions jackpot has surpassed $1 billion for only the third time in the game’s 20-year history after the winning numbers were drawn on Tuesday, July 26 night and no winner was declared.

The estimated jackpot for the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, July 29, is now $1.025 billion.
On Tuesday, the winning numbers were 7-29-60-63-66. The Mega Ball had a value of 15 and the Megaplier had a value of 3.
Before Tuesday night’s drawing, the jackpot had risen to an estimated $830 million, making it the third-largest in the game’s history.

“Friday’s drawing will be the thirty-first in this jackpot run, which began on April 19 after the jackpot was won in Tennessee on April 15,” Mega Millions said in an early Wednesday, July 27 statement.
The $1.02 billion prize is awarded to winners who select the annuity option, which is paid out annually over 30 years.
The majority of winners choose the cash option, which for the next drawing on Friday night is estimated to be $602.5 million.
The likelihood of winning the jackpot is 1 in 302.5 million. Mega Millions is available in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the US Virgin Islands. State lotteries coordinate the game.
