Mayim Chaya Bialik was born on December 12, 1975, in San Diego, California, the United States of America. She was brought up by parents Barry Bialik and Beverly Winkleman Bialik.

Mayim Bialik has a brother named Isaac Brynjegard-Bialik. Mayim’s family are originally Jewish immigrants residing in the Bronx, New York City. She graduated from North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood, California. in 1993 before proceeding to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Mayim Bialik began her career as a child actress in the late 1980s. She received recognition for playing the title character of the NBC sitcom Blossom from 1991 to 1995.
