Maya Ray Thurman Hawke is a model and actress from the United States. She is the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke.

Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke got married on May 1, 1998, after meeting during the filming of the 1997 film Gattaca.  Aside from Maya, Thurman and Hawke have a son named Levon who was born in 2002. The pair divorced in August 2005 after they separated in 2003.

Uma Karuna Thurman had her breakthrough in Dangerous Liaisons. She gained international prominence with her part as Mia Wallace in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, for which she received Academy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress.

She was labelled Tarantino’s muse after reuniting with the director to play The Bride in Kill Bill: Volumes 1 and 2 (2003 and 2004), for which she received two more Golden Globe nominations.

Maya Hawke’s famous father Ethan Hawke has four Academy Award nominations and one Tony Award. Hawke’s credits include three feature films, three off-Broadway plays, and a documentary. He’s also the author of three novels and one graphic novel.

He made his film debut in the 1985 science fiction film Explorers before breaking out in the 1989 drama Dead Poets Society.
