Maxine Klibingaitis Cause of Death

Maxine Klibingaitis, the Australian actress best known for her roles in Prisoner and Neighbours, died suddenly on Monday, April 17 2023. at the age of 58. The cause of her death has not yet been disclosed

The Prisoner fan club Partners in Crime announced her death on Facebook. ‘We regrettably announce that actress Maxine Klibingaitis has passed away,’ the post began.

‘Maxine was only 58. We send our sincere condolences to her son Zane and Maxine’s family and friends. RIP Maxine.’

Partners in Crime clarified the post was not a ‘hoax’ and that Klibingaitis’ death was ‘sudden and unexpected’ and had been confirmed by a friend.

From 1983 to 1985, Klibingaitis portrayed adolescent punk Bobbie Mitchell on Prisoner, and for six months in 1985, she portrayed apprentice plumber Terry Inglis on Neighbours.

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Klibingaitis appeared in a number of other Australian TV shows, including Home and Away, The Flying Doctors, and All Together Now.

Her most recent public appearance was in 2019 at a Prisoner reunion in Melbourne. In 1987, she married television director Andrew Friedman. Maxine Kilbingaitis is survived by her son Zane, reports TV Tonight.
