Matthew Robert Patrick (born November 15, 1986), also known online as MatPat, is a well-known American actor, YouTuber, and Internet celebrity.

He is the creator and narrator of the YouTube web series The Game Theorists, where he makes remarks on subjects including the logic, veracity of science, and lore of different video games and the gaming business.

The Film Theorists and The Food Theorists are two Game Theory spinoffs that MatPat is recognized for having created and narrated.

In 2009, MatPat created a YouTube channel called “MatthewPatrick13.” He shared a few videos of his performances and auditions for musical theater, one of which had him singing It Takes Two from the show Hairspray.
