Klich joined Poland’s UEFA Euro 2020 squad, also as a starter and also played for his country at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Mateusz Klich is now leaving Leeds United to join DC United.
His teammates had pulled up an emotional sendforth for him by giving him a guard of honour and wearing shirts with his name and photograph printed on it.
So far, Klich has made 194 appearances with the Leeds.
