Matěj Kovář is a professional football player who serves as a goalkeeper for the Premier League club Manchester United.
Born on May 17, 2000, in Uherské Hradiště, Czech Republic, Kovar began his career with FC Slovácko in Czech Republic, before he relocated to England to join Manchester United in 2018.

He further spent time playing on loan playing for Swindon Town, Burton Albion, Sparta Prague, and the Czech Republic national team.
