TV star Martin Clunes lost considerable amount of weight, about three stones in three months.

Clunes made use of exercise and fast diet which required eating green vegetables, eggs, white fish and low-fat yoghurt. He also used the 6:1 diet plan, which involves restricting your calorie intake one day in a week.

Who Is Martin Clunes?

Martin Clunes is a British comedian, director, TV presenter and actor, best known for appearing in the ITV comedy-drama series Doc Martin and Men Behaving Badly.

Born on November 28, 1961, Clunes has been a documentary narrator on ITV, one of which is Islands of Britain. He also played voiceover artist in the animated series Kipper.

In 2001, he acted in the BBC adaptation of R. D. Blackmore’s Lorna Doone, and in 2002, he appeared A Is for Acid, playing the role of a serial killer.

Other productions in which he appeared are Goodbye Mr Chips, William and Mary, Dirty Tricks (2000), the ITV comedy drama series Doc Martin, and The Man Who Lost His Head.

Clunes received the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) honours in 2015.
