Spanish professional basketball player Marta Xargay Casademont, born on December 20, 1990, is no longer active. In addition to many European clubs in the Czech Republic, Russia, and Spain, she played for the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury. From 2011 to 2020, she participated in basketball competitions for Spain’s women’s national team.

With Perfumeras Avenida Baloncesto, she captured the EuroLeague Women 2010–2011 championship. Her departure from Spain in 2015 led to her joining the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA on February 11, 2015, as well as USK Praha of the Czech League.

She joined Dynamo Kursk of the Russian Premier League in September 2018 before going back to Uni Girona CB, where she spent her formative years. In July 2021, she declared her retirement after opting not to play in the 2020–21 campaign.
