Facebook owner, Mark Zuckerberg, has seen his wealth fallen in value by about $7 billion in hours after Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger crash globally.

Facebook in a statement did not reveal the problem but sources have claimed it is a problem with the Domain Name System. The error message on the webpage of Facebook Inc suggested a problem with Domain Name System (DNS). DNS allows web addresses to take users to their destinations.

The problem with Facebook has caused Mark Zuckerberg to lose about 5% of his fortune pushing him below Bill Gates on the world billionaires list.

The stock slide on Monday sent Zuckerberg’s worth down to $121.6 billion, dropping him below Bill Gates to No. 5 on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. He’s down from almost $140 billion in a matter of weeks, according to the index.
Mark Zuckerberg has been huge hit by setbacks as he saw his fortune drop by about 15% in mid September.
