Mark Turgeon is a 56-year-old American college men’s basketball coach who recently parted ways with the Maryland Terrapins. Mark Turgeon was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas and he played as a point guard for the Kansas Jayhawks.

Mark Turgeon served as head coach for Jacksonville State University, Wichita State University, Texas A&M University, and the last college he coached is the University of Maryland.
