Mark Purslow was a seasoned classic racer, having competed in the Classic TT in 2016, 2018, and 2019. The legend was first featured on the TT Mountain Course at the 2015 Manx Grand Prix. Later, on his debut, he won the Lightweight event.

In 2017, he advanced to the Isle of Man TT Races, where he competed in the Supersport and Lightweight classes; 2022 was his second TT.
