Marissa Andaya was the wife of late Filipino lawyer and politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines, Rolando Aureo “Nonoy” Gutierrez Andaya Jr.

Marissa Andaya was a Filipino politician and she served as congresswoman of the first legislative district of Camarines Sur Province.
What happened to Rolando Andaya Jr.’s Wife? On July 5, 2020, she succumbed to cancer which she fought for seven years.

Sadly, her husband Rolando Andaya Jr. also died on June 30, 2022, in his residence in Naga, just five days short of her second death anniversary.
He represented the 1st district of Camarines Sur from 1998 to 2006 and again from 2010 to 2019.
He was a House Deputy Speaker from 2016 to 2018 in the 17th Congress.
He then served as the House Majority Leader from 2018 to 2019. He was also the Secretary of Budget and Management from 2006 to 2010 in President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s cabinet.
Prior to becoming a congressman, Marissa’s husband worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission from 1996 to 1998.
