Marin Cacic was a Croatian footballer who played in the Croatian second division for a team called NK Nehaj. Life was not fair to Marin Cacic as he has died after colla[sing during a training session some few days ago.

Marin Cacic went into a coma after he collapsed from their second training session and was rushed to a nearby hospital. The death of Marin Cacic has brought a sad moment to all sporting activities in Croatia and its neighbouring countries.

According to the report, doctors tried very hard to help Marin restore to normal but all attempts proved futile. Marin Cacic has received tributes from most of the former teams he played for before joining NK Nehaj.

Marin Cacic died as a result of a heart attack at the hospital and at the time of his death, he was 23 years of age.
