Mariano Rivera Jr is the son of Mariano Rivera. He was born on October 4, 1993, in Panama. At the age of nine, he moved to New York, and after watching his father take the baseball field, he soon developed a passion for the sport.

Rivera Jr was drafted by the Yankees in his junior year at Iona College and played for four years with the Potomac Nationals Minor League baseball team, but he just always wanted to do something with cars.

Mariano Rivera, Rivera’s dad was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame as part of its class of 2019 in his first year of eligibility and was the first to date only player ever to be elected unanimously by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
