Maria Cosgrove is the ex-wife of former Royal Palace Butter Paul Burrell.

Maria had also been a worker at the Royal Palace, where she met Burrell. She had served the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, at the time.
Maria and Paul tied the knots in 1984 and together have two sons – Alexander, 33, and Nicholas, 30.
The duo later divorced in 2016 and Burrell went on to marry his gay partner, Graham Cooper.
Who Is Paul Burrell?
Paul Burrell is a former British Royal Household servant who served as butler to the late Princess Diana.
Born on June 6, 1958, in Grassmoor, United Kingdom, Burrell began to work at the Buckingham Palace in 1987, serving Charles and Diana at Highgrove House, Gloucestershire.

Until the death of Diana, Burrell was regarded as “the only man she ever trusted”. He had played supportive roles to Diana in many ways, and as a result, she became very fond of him.

On the contrary, Burrell received rejection and hatred from Diana’s mother, Frances Shand Kydd, who thought he was a gold digger.
Upon serving the Royal house for 21 years, Burrell moved on with his life and wrote a number of bestselling books such as Entertaining with Style, In the Royal Manner: Butler to Diana, A Royal Duty, and The Way We Were: Remembering Diana.
In 2004, he appeared on the season 4 of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and on Countdown in Dictionary Corner.
Burrell has so far been on many other TV shows including Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, Through the Keyhole, Therapy, and the TV documentary, Diana: The Royal Truth.
Burrell has received a number of British Royal Awards such as the Royal Victorian Medal, the Royal Household Long and Faithful Service Medal by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
