Marcus Semien Wife: Meet Tarah Murrey

Tarah Murrey is a volley ball player and the wife of Marcus Semien a professional baseball player. The couple has three boys called Isaiah, Joshua, and Eli.

Marcus and Tarah are both from the Bay Area. They met at UC Berkeley, where Marcus was a baseball player and Tarah was a volleyball player.

Tarah was a member of both her high school and collegiate volleyball teams. She attended St. Mary’s High School and received a sociology degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

She played volleyball with Cuatto Giaveno Volley and Vaqueras de Bayamón at the University of California, Berkeley. She also won the Girls’ Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship in 2006 and was named most valuable player.

Tarah Murrey coached the volleyball team at her previous college from 2015 to 2016. The couple is involved in various charitable works.

Marcus Semien and his wife, Tarah provided hundreds of meals in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to employees at the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, Oakland Public Works, five divisions of AC Transit and BART.
