Marcus Monk is a former professional basketball player and former professional American football wide receiver. He was born on April 26, 1986. He is 36 years old.

Monk graduated from East Poinsett County High School with a 4.0 GPA and lettered in football and basketball. He also graduated as the class Valedictorian.
He was an All-State selection in both sports, the 2004 Mr Basketball of Arkansas, and the National Football Foundation’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The Chicago Bears selected him in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He went to Arkansas for college football. Monk has also played for the New York Giants. He played professional basketball in the NBA from 2010 to 2012.
In 2010, Monk signed with Hertener Löwen of the German ProB league. During the 2010-11 season, he averaged 22.2 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.1 steals, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game while being named to the Eurobasket.com All-Pro B First Team and the Eurobasket.com All-ProB Defensive Player of the Year.
