Marcos Acuña is a father. Julia Silva and Marcos Acuna are the parents of three children. They have two daughters and a son. Julia gave birth to Mora Acuna, their daughter, in 2014.

Benjamin Acuna, the couple’s second kid, was born in 2016 while their second daughter was born to them in 2022. Marcos Acuña plays as a left-back for La Liga club Sevilla and the Argentina national team.

Marcos Acuña made his debut for Ferro’s first team in 2009 in a match in the Primera B Nacional playing as a winger under coach José María Bianco.
On 27 July 2014, Marcos Acuña played his first game with the Academia in a match for the knockout phase of the 2013–14 Copa Argentina against San Martín de San Juan. He scored the winning goal on a header to give Racing a 1–0 victory.
On 15 November 2016, Marcos Acuña made his international debut with the Argentina national team in a World Cup Qualifier 2018 match against Colombia.
