A professional basketball player for Olimpia Milano in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A and the EuroLeague, Maodo Lô is of German and Senegalese descent.

He once represented Columbia University in New York City as a player. Lô, one of the best basketball players in Germany, is nicknamed among Columbia supporters as “The Chairman.”
Lô joined the Philadelphia 76ers summer league squad after going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft. In the Las Vegas Summer League, he was a member of the Sixers squad.
He agreed to a two-year, 1.000.000€ contract with Italian powerhouse Olimpia Milano on July 15, 2023. Lô is the son of Elvira Bach, a renowned German painter, and her Senegalese husband.

Maodo Lô Children: Does Maodo Lô Have Kids?
Lo was born in Berlin and raised there. His father, Alioune, a couscous farmer from Kaffrine in southern Senegal, gave him the name in honor of a revered West African religious leader named Malick Sy.
Lo acknowledged that Sy was often referred to as Maodo, which he translated to mean “the Great One,” but he was hesitant to say this.
The public is unaware of Maodo Lô’s spouse, romantic partner, and children.
