Isidro Muñoz is the father of Manolo Sanlúcar (born Manuel Muñoz Alcón), a Spanish flamenco composer and guitarist who died on August 27, 2022 at age 78.

Sancular was born on 24 November 1943 and owes much of his success as a composer and guitarist to his father Isidro Sanlúcar, a baker and old-style guitarist, who frequently came home with people who were fond of cante and playing.
Sancular was taght by his father.

From childhood, Sanlucar was exceptionally skilled and made the decision to follow his father’s steps. Sanlucar’s brothers also decided on the same vocation, among them Isidro Muñoz de Sanlúcar.

Two of his sanlucar’s critically acclaimed records are Tauromagia (1988), and Locura de Brisa y Trino. (2000).
Sanlúcar was awarded Spain’s Premio Nacional de Música for interpretation in 2000.
Sanlucar’s work was so well-known that Juanma Suárez’s documentary “Manolo Sanlucar: The Legacy” was released in November 2019.
Sanlucar received eight nominations for the Goya 2020, and the Andalusian Studies Center presented him with the Imaginera 2019 as part of the Seville Film Festival.
