Manolete Bullfighting Career
Manolete’s career as a bullfighter lasted for about 13 years, beginning from his debut in 1933 until his untimely death in 1947.
During his time, Manolete participated in numerous bullfights across Spain and gained a reputation for his ability to accurately face the bulls.

Manolete also made successful appearances in Mexico and South America, expanding his fame and popularity beyond Spain.
Unfortunately, Manolete’s career came to a tragic end on August 29, 1947, when he was fatally gored by a bull during a bullfight in Linares, Spain.
There are also contrary opinions that Manolete died died after “receiving a transfusion with the wrong type of blood.”
His death shocked the nation and the bullfighting community, leading to an outpouring of grief and a lasting impact on the sport.
