The Ghana Police Service has launched an urgent manhunt for two assailants responsible for the cold-blooded murder of two off-duty police officers in East Trasacco, Accra.
The shocking incident occurred on Thursday, May 2, 2024, around 6:00 pm. According to official reports, the gunmen targeted the officers while they were seated in front of their private residence at Block Factory, East Trasacco.
The assailants acted swiftly, leaving no room for negotiation or escape. Remarkably, they did not steal anything from their victims; their sole intent seemed to be the fatal attack.

This incident follows closely on the heels of another violent episode—a military officer, Lance Corporal Danso Michael, lost his life on May 1, 2024, in Kasoa Millennium City, Central Region, during a dispute over land.
