Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail, also known as Mammootty is an Indian actor, producer and father of Bollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan.

Mammootty stars mainly in Malayalam films and boasts of a career spanning over 50 years.

Mammootty has appeared in more than 400 films and has won several awards so far in his career.

In 2022, he received the Kerala Prabha Award, which is the second highest award given by the Government of Kerala.

Who Is Dulquer Salmaan?

Dulquer Salmaan is an Indian actor, singer and film producer known for appearing in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films.

Born on July 28, 1986, Salmaan studied business management at degree level, in Purdue University, before considering a career in Bollywood.

He began acting in 2012 and has since appeared in blockbuster Indian movies such as Ustad Hotel (2012), ABCD (2013), Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (2013), Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014), Bangalore Days (2014), Vikramadithyan (2014).

Salmaan now owns his film production company Wayfarer Films.

Other movies Salmaan has appeared include O Kadhal Kanmani (2015), Charlie (2015), Kali (2016), Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017), Mahanati (2018), Kurup (2021) and Sita Ramam (2022).

His upcoming films are the Netflix series Guns & Gulaabs, and the gangster film King of Kotha, which he produced and starred as lead actor.

Salmaan has been awarded four Filmfare Awards South and one Kerala State Film Award.

He is one of India’s most influential young people and the first actor from Kerala to appear on the cover of Vogue India.
