Former President of Ghana and flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, expressed his excitement as he revealed his choice for a running mate to the party’s leadership today.

He emphasized that his selected running mate will collaborate with him and fellow party members to shape a prosperous future for the people of Ghana.
Mahama shared this news through a post on social media, stating, “Excited to meet with the NDC National Executive Committee and the Council of Elders to present my nominee for Running Mate as we prepare for the elections in December.

Together, we will work tirelessly to advance the interests of the Ghanaian people and build a prosperous future for all.”
The NDC’s General Secretary, Fiifi Kwetey, confirmed that John Dramani Mahama has made his decision on a running mate. Speculation in certain media circles suggests that he has chosen Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, who served as his running mate in the 2020 elections.
