Maggie Fox Cause Of Death: How Did Maggie Fox’s Accident Happen?

Coronation Street star, Maggie Fox, passed away after a “sudden accident”. Details of the accident are yet to be disclosed.

The news was broken to the public by Ryding, who announced Maggie’s death on Facebook on March 22, 2022.

“It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of Maggie Fox, my comedy partner of 40 years and co-Artistic Director of LipService. Maggie passed away yesterday with her family around her.

“As you can imagine I am completely heartbroken.

“We are still all in a state of shock as this was very sudden following an accident.”

She continued: “Details to be published when having a plan. Thank you for supporting us over all these years, we are so lucky to have such a loyal audience. We do hope you will join us to celebrate her comedy genius later in the year. Sue.”

Fox was best known for her long-running appearance in the popular soap opera Coronation Street.

Aside from Corrie, she also made TV appearances in The Forsyte Saga (2002), Reckless (1997), and South Riding (2011).

In the ITV period drama The Forsyte she played Bilson – the housekeeper to Damian Lewis’s solicitor Soames Forsyte.

In 2006, she starred in an episode of Shameless, where she took on the role of a registrar at Frank and Sheila’s wedding.

She also performed in Radio 4 sketch show Lip Service, which she co-wrote with Sue Ryding.

Both were scheduled to go on a nationwide tour this week.

The Corrie star died after a “sudden accident” which left her family in “utter shock”.

Fox appeared in Coronation Street in 1990.

Although her most notable role was as Ruth Audsley, she also played the part of three other characters during her time in the popular TV series.

In 1990, she played a nurse, in 1992, Charmain Grey and in 2010, she played Judge Travers.
