Wizkid’s album, ‘Made In Lagos’ has peaked the number one spot on Billboard World Album Chart after spending forty-one (41) weeks on the chart.

He has become one of the first few African artistes to achieve this milestone. His single off the album, ‘Essence’ has reportedly peaked number sixteen (16) on the chart too. The song once became part of the top ten (10) songs on US Apple Music. ‘Made In Lagos’ is the most streamed African album of all time on music streaming platforms, Spotify, and other platforms. It is set to have its deluxe version which will be released this Friday, 27th August 2021. The version will have an additional three songs on the album; with a feature from Nigerian singer, Buju.

For the album’s international tour, Wizkid has sold out over thirteen (13) venues in North America alone. He has also set a record for being the first African artiste to sell out the O2 Arena in London in under 15 minutes. The album has easily become his most successful album ever.
